Grilled PB & J

Monday, September 14, 2009

I’m a little late on my recipe today, but better late then never right!  One day my oldest step-daughter was here and I was trying to think of something out of the ordinary to make for her and decided to see how a grilled pb & j would turn out.  According to her it turned out messy, but great!

You Need:

  • 2 slices of bread per sandwich
  • Peanut Butter (I use Jif)
  • Jelly (I use Strawberry Perserves)
  • Butter (I use Land o’Lakes spreadable butter)

Put It Together:

  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • On the un-butter side of one slice of bread spread peanut butter and jelly and then put together like a sandwich with un-butter side outward.
  • Turn your stove to medium heat and place buttered side of bread in pan, cook till golden brown, flip to uncooked side and cook till golden brown.
  • Serve, be careful peanut butter and jelly may be a little hot.
