The Stubbs Sandwich

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

The Stubbs Sandwich is a monster sized sandwich that I discovered one day while my husband was watching some sports channel.  We looked up the recipe and just had to try it, is it ever YUMMY!  This monster sandwich was named after Danny Stubbs and if you know anything about it is often endorsed by John Madden.

Ingredients:

  • 6-ounce breakfast sausage patty
  • 3 slices hickory-smoked bacon
  • 2 eggs, scrambled
  • 1 slice american cheese, shredded
  • 1 slice american cheese, whole
  • 2 slices texas toast

Directions:

  • Cook sausage and bacon.
  • Cook scrambled eggs, mix in shredded cheese.
  • Fill sandwich in order.  Bacon, sausage, cheese slice, eggs.

And then of course gobble that bad boy up!

**Obviously for the sandwich to be authentic you would make it just the way it says, but you could change the amounts of stuff you use or trade hickory-smoked bacon for regular…ya know what I mean.
